Hyderabad has one of the widest web design price ranges in India. You can buy a website here for ₹999, and you can be quoted ₹1,50,000 for something that sounds identical on the phone.
Most of that spread is not quality. It is overhead, sales structure and who the client normally is. This guide is about reading the quote you have been given and working out which of those you are paying for.
It is the Hyderabad companion to our national 5-page website cost guide.
What the bands mean in this market
| Band | What it is | Who it fits |
|---|---|---|
| ₹999 – ₹5,000 | Template reseller, volume business, first-year pricing | Presence only — somewhere to point people |
| ₹5,000 – ₹15,000 | Freelancer or small studio, light customisation | Small business with content ready to go |
| ₹15,000 – ₹40,000 | Designed build, copy written, SEO structure | Most small businesses that need the site to work |
| ₹40,000 – ₹1,00,000 | Agency with account management and process | Funded companies, multiple stakeholders |
| ₹1,00,000+ | Custom software, integrations, ongoing team | Products rather than brochures |
Our five-page Starter package is ₹9,999 excluding GST, and Growth at ₹18,999 covers up to ten pages with full schema markup and analytics. We are a Mahabubnagar agency working in Hyderabad, which is most of why the number is where it is — we are not paying HITEC City rent and you are not funding it.
What you are actually paying for above ₹40,000
This is worth being fair about, because agency pricing gets criticised lazily.
At the top of the market you are buying structure: an account manager who owns the relationship, a process that survives someone leaving, contracts and SLAs, and the capacity to handle a project with six stakeholders who disagree. For a company with a marketing department and internal politics, that is genuinely worth paying for. It is the difference between a project that finishes and one that stalls.
For a single-owner business where one person makes every decision, you are paying for coordination overhead that your project does not generate. The website is often the same website.
The trap specific to this market
Hyderabad has an unusually large number of very cheap advertised prices — ₹999, ₹1,500, ₹3,800 — competing hard on the headline number.
The pattern to watch is not the price. It is what renews. A first-year figure that excludes hosting renewal, domain renewal, and a per-change edit fee can comfortably cost more across three years than a one-time build at ten times the advertised price.
Before comparing two quotes, ask both suppliers the same question: what do I pay you in year two and year three if I change nothing? The answers frequently reverse the ranking.
Our website packages are one-time payments and the site is yours outright. Ongoing care starts at ₹1,499 a month and is optional — decline it and nothing about what you received at launch changes.
Does the supplier need to be in Hyderabad?
Honestly, usually not. Almost all of this work happens over calls, WhatsApp and screen shares. Being in the same city changes very little about how a website gets built.
Where it does matter is photography. If your business is a showroom, a restaurant, a clinic or a school, real photographs of the actual place outperform stock imagery by a wide margin — and that needs someone physically there. If your business is a service you deliver anywhere, it matters much less.

We are based in Mahabubnagar, about two hours out, and we do travel into Hyderabad for projects that need it — Kings Mobile World, a four-branch repair chain here, is one of them.
The four things left out of nearly every quote
- GST at 18%, on top of the figure quoted
- Domain, annually and forever
- Hosting, annually — check the renewal, not the introductory rate
- Content — who writes it, and who photographs it
We bill domain and hosting at cost with no markup, and every price we charge is on our published price list.
How to compare two Hyderabad quotes properly
- 1.Open two sites each supplier has already built, on your phone, on mobile data. Count the seconds to load.
- 2.Ask who writes the content. This changes the real cost more than any line item.
- 3.Get year-two and year-three costs in writing from both.
- 4.Confirm you own the site, the domain and the hosting account, and that you can leave.
- 5.Ask what a small change costs after launch, and how quickly it happens.
- 6.Ask for a PageSpeed Insights score on a site they have already delivered.

Frequently asked
How much does website design cost in Hyderabad in 2026?
Advertised prices start under ₹1,000 for template sites and run past ₹1,00,000 for agency builds. For a small business wanting a custom-designed site with content written for them, ₹10,000 to ₹40,000 is the realistic range. Our five-page package is ₹9,999, excluding GST.
Why is there such a huge price range in Hyderabad?
Because the market runs from one-person template resellers to full agencies with account managers and offices in HITEC City. The bottom of the range is a product sold at volume; the top includes overhead and team structure you may or may not need. The website in the middle is often the same website.
Is a low-cost Hyderabad web design company worth it?
For a simple presence site, often yes. The risk is not quality of code — it is that nobody thinks about your business, the content is left to you, and the advertised price frequently covers only the first year. Ask what year two costs before comparing anything.
Do I need a Hyderabad agency if my business is in Hyderabad?
Not necessarily. Almost all of this work happens over calls, WhatsApp and screen shares regardless of who you hire. What a local supplier genuinely gives you is someone who can visit, and whether that is worth a premium depends on whether your business needs photographing.
What should a website quote always include?
Design, build, mobile responsiveness, on-page SEO, hosting setup, and a support period after launch. Ask separately about GST, domain, hosting renewal, and who writes the content — those four are the usual omissions.
