These terms apply when you engage Growth Masala ("we", "us") to carry out work, and when you use https://growthmasala.com.
They are deliberately short. Anything specific to your project — scope, price, timeline — lives in the written quote we send you, and the quote wins wherever it says something different from this page.
What we do
We build websites and run digital marketing for local businesses: website design and development, search engine optimisation, social media management, and paid advertising on Meta platforms.
The current list of services and published prices is on our services page. Anything not written into your quote is not included in it.
Quotes and prices
We publish our prices. Before any work starts you get a written quote covering the scope, the price, and what you receive at the end.
- A quote is fixed for the work it describes. We do not revise the price partway through for work that was already agreed.
- A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude any applicable taxes unless stated.
- Work that falls outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and started only once you have approved it.
Payment
Unless your quote says otherwise:
- An advance is payable before work begins.
- The balance is payable on completion, before the site goes live or files are handed over.
- Care plans and retainers are billed monthly in advance.
We will always tell you what is owed and when. If an invoice goes unpaid we may pause work until it is settled.
What we need from you
Projects stall for one reason far more often than any other: waiting on the client. To keep to a timeline we need from you, promptly:
- text, images, logos and any other content the project requires
- access to your domain, hosting, or any accounts we need to configure
- decisions and approvals at the points the project asks for them
You confirm that any content you give us is yours to use, or that you have permission to use it. We are not responsible for a claim arising from material you supplied.
Timelines
We give realistic estimates and work to them. An estimate is not a guaranteed date, and the clock pauses while we are waiting on content, approvals or access from you.
If something on our side is going to slip, we will tell you before the deadline rather than after it.
Ownership and handover
When your project is paid for in full, it is yours. The website, its design, its content and its files transfer to you. We hand over what you need to run it independently, including access to accounts created for you.
Two things stay ours: our own internal tools and processes, and any pre-existing components or code we bring to the project. These do not restrict your use of your site in any way.
We may show your project in our portfolio and case studies unless you ask us not to. Just say so — it is not a negotiation.
Third-party services and their costs
Some things a project needs are bought from someone else: domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, stock imagery, and advertising spend paid to the platform.
These are not included in our fees unless your quote explicitly says so, and they are billed at cost. Advertising budgets are always separate from our management fee and are paid to the platform, not to us.
We are not responsible for a third-party service changing its pricing, terms, or availability.
What we honestly cannot promise
We would rather be direct about this than bury it.
- We do not guarantee search rankings. Nobody credible does. SEO improves the chance of ranking; Google decides the outcome, and it changes its mind.
- We do not guarantee advertising results. We can promise competent campaign management, accurate tracking and honest reporting. We cannot promise a particular number of leads or a particular cost per lead.
- We do not guarantee revenue. How a website performs commercially depends on your pricing, your market and your service, none of which we control.
Any figures we discuss are estimates based on experience, not commitments.
Confidentiality
Anything you share with us about your business that is not public stays between us. The same applies in reverse.
Liability
We do our work carefully and we fix our mistakes. But there are limits worth stating plainly:
- Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you have actually paid us for the work the claim relates to.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost business, lost data — arising from the work or from the site being unavailable.
- We are not liable for problems caused by third-party services, by hosting outages, by changes you or another party make to the site after handover, or by security issues arising from credentials you shared or reused.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a project in writing.
If you end it, you pay for the work completed to that point and we hand over what has been produced. If we end it — which we would only do for non-payment or if the working relationship has genuinely broken down — we will refund anything paid for work not yet done.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Mahabubnagar, Telangana.
We would much rather resolve a problem with a phone call, and in practice that is what happens.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The version that applies to your project is the one in force when your quote was accepted.
